It’s Official I am a “Dark Lord of SEO”

Now look if I told you that was true because I said so or because of my resume you would be right to tell me I am full of beans but I have proof, look at this badge baby!
Yep I took a little quiz they whipped over at SEOMoz and scored a 95% on it. I guess most would be happy, I however just screwed up two answers by rushing and disagree on two others with their opinion.
Now there are three real reasons I posted this and none are really so I can brag about being a “Dark Lord” (Gee those guys are something aren’t they calling it a Dark Lord then bashing any “black hat” techniques even those that work and can’t be detected?). The things I wanted to let you know about were as follows,
1. The quiz is actually quite good and relatively advanced. I think you will learn a lot by taking it even if you don’t do well, so give it a shot.
2. It is a great form of “link bait”, hey they got me to use is right? So let it spur your creativity what kind of link bait can you create?
3. In the end I see it as incomplete, SEO is only one small part of Internet Marketing so it has inspired me to create a much more comprehensive quiz. Some time next week I will release a quiz with several categories that will help you gauge your overall knowledge of internet marketing beyond the single discipline of SEO.
So until then give this one a shot, test your knowledge and see if you measure up as a Dark Lord, (good grief).
